A Basking Ridge preschool recently raised more than $3,500 to support the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
The Weintal Preschool raised $3,585 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while teaching valuable riding-toy safety tips, according to a release from the school. The annual fundraiser is a week-long program teaching children how to ride safely, while raising funds for the hospital.
“This is the third year that The Weintal Preschool has held the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon program,” Terri Crosbie, event coordinator, said in a release from Weintal Preschool. “We are so excited to host the program every year because it is a fun activity we can easily incorporate into our existing programs. Not only did we teach our children valuable safety lessons, we taught them how they could help children like them who are battling cancer and other deadly diseases.”
