Basking Ridge Stable Offers 'Pony Pal' Programs For Kids
Lord Stirling Stable now offers the "Pony Pals Club" designed to introduce children ages 2 to 9 to ponies with rides, games, and crafts.

Lord Stirling Stable in Basking Ridge has introduced the “Pony Pals Club,” a program for children and their parents designed to introduce children to ponies while encouraging child-parent interaction.
The January session of “Pony Pals Club” is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 at the stable, which is located at 256 South Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge.
Programs for 2 to 4-year-olds

A 30-minute program from 10 to 10:30 a.m. will be directed at 2 to 4-year-olds who are accompanied by a parent or care giver. This program will include a pony story, game activity, and a pony ride in either the indoor or outdoor ring. Siblings age two to nine are also welcome to participate. The fee for this session is $5 per child and parent pair, and $3 for each additional sibling.
Programs for Children Ages 5 to 7

A 60-minute program directed at parents children ages 5 to 7 will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. This program includes a pony story, game activity and/or craft, and a pony ride. Siblings age five to nine are also welcome. The fee for this program is $10 per child and parent pair, and $5 for each additional sibling.
Pre-registration is required by phone at 908-766-5955 or in person at the Stable office. Payment by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover is required at the time of enrollment.
