Early Voting Location Offered In Bernards Township

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — With the primary election approaching, Basking Ridge residents have the ability to vote early at the Bernards Township’s Community Center.

The Center, located at 289 South Maple Ave., is one of six early voting locations in Somerset County.

The early voting option allows registered voters to cast their ballot in person, using a voting machine, prior to the Primary Election. No appointments are necessary.

Early voting is open from June 3 to June 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Four candidates filed to run for two Township Committee seats up for election in Bernards Township in 2025.

Two Republicans and two Democrats submitted petitions for candidacy in Basking Ridge.

Here's who filed to run for Township Committee, along with their respective tickets:

Republican:

• David Tancredi (full term)
• Bill McMahon (unexpired term)

Democrats:

• Brett Hodges (full term)
• John Tompkins (unexpired term)

Primary election day is June 10 for New Jersey.

• Franklin Township – Community Center, 505 DeMott Lane, Somerset
• Hillsborough Township – Municipal Building, 379 S. Branch Rd., Hillsborough
• Montgomery Township – Municipal Building, 100 Community Drive, Skillman
• North Plainfield Borough – Community Center, 614 Greenbrook Rd., N. Plainfield
• Bernards Township – Community Center, 289 South Maple Ave., Basking Ridge
