Bernards Twp. Library Begins October With 8 Public Programs

The day will begin on Tuesday at the Bernards Township Library with Tot Time for ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 first thing in the morning at 9:30 a.m., with public programs to continue throughout until the evening's adult book discussion and a career forum begin at 7:30 p.m. 

All in all, the library has eight programs for the public scheduled on a busy day. Details are online.

Many of the programs require advance registration, while others — such as Twilight Tales from 6:30 to 7 p.m. in the Children's Library, new this fall — are on a drop-in basis.

New members are welcome to join the 7:30 to 9 p.m. evening book discussion group at any time, according to the library. Tuesday's discussion in Program Room B will focus on "The Swerve: How the World Became Modern" by Stephen Greenblatt, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award.

Multiple copies of book discussion selections are available near the Circulation Desk, according to the library.

Career Forum; Resources for Job Hunters, is scheduled to be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Program Room A. 

Other programs set for Tuesday include a poetry writing group and more.
