The food collected at TD Bank Ballpark will benefit the 21st annual Curbing Hunger Month food drive in Somerset County, county officials said. The Somerset County Board of Freeholders proclaimed June as Curbing Hunger Month and encouraged residents to put canned food donations in plastic bags at the curb on regular recycling days in June.

Food collected during Curbing Hunger month will benefit local food pantries, including the Food Bank Network of Somerset County and the Franklin Township Food Bank.
