BASKING RIDGE, NJ —A downed tree and wires have caused Lake Road to close on Wednesday.

The road is closed between Culberson Road and S Alward Avenue, said Bernards Township Police around 2:25 p.m.

"It is expected to take several hours to complete repairs and reopen the roadway. Avoid the area and seek alternate routes," said police.
