Pleasant Valley Pool Opening This weekend

Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial kick off for the summer season and with summer comes swimming pools.

The Pleasant Valley Pool, located at Pleasant Valley Park off Valley Road in Basking Ridge, will be opening for the summer season over Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m.

Pleasant Valley Park opens at 11 a.m. and the pool will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. this weekend, according to Bernards Township. Additionally, memberships are available for the season and non-members can try the pool without the accompaniment of a member during the weekend of May 30 and 31, the township said. Potential members can try the pool that weekend for the cost of a guest pass.

Membership can be purchased by filling out the resident application form or non-resident application with check payment or purchase online with a credit card.
