Ridge Girls Volleyball Advances to State Semifinals

The Ridge Girls volleyball team is heading to the Group 4 state semifinal match on Thursday at Hunterdon Central High School, following a quarterfinal match on Tuesday against Williamstown High School in Monroe Townshp.

On Tuesday, the no. 12 state-ranked Ridge girls volleyball team
traveled to southern New Jersey to face the no. 10-ranked Williamstown High School, and defeated their opponent in the quarterfinal of the state tournament.

Ridge took the tournament 25-17, 20-25 and 25-16.  

For the first time in Ridge volleyball history, according to the Ridge Girls Volleyball Club, the varsity girls team now will advance to the Group 4 state semi final round against no. 2-ranked Hunterdon Central High School.

The semifinal match is scheduled take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Hunterdon Central in Flemington in that school's gym.

The public is invited by the team to, "Come out and cheer on the lady Red Devils!"
