BEDMINSTER, NJ—Around 200 people gathered on Saturday in Bedminster to rally in support of President Trump, law enforcement, and the military.
"We're out here because we will not accept socialism in this country," said one of the event's organizers, Teresa Tavoletti of Green Brook. "That's where this country is headed and we won't have it."
The crowd, which assembled on a crisp, sunny fall day at the corner of Lamington Road and Rt. 206, waved slags and banners, and yelled whenever cars passed and honked their horns in support.

Throughout the morning, people stood on the corner of Lamington Road and Rt. 206, many waving Trump banners or American flags as pro-American music blared over portable speakers. The demonstrators cheered when passing cars honked their horns or revved their engines.
"This is what it's all about," said John McKenna, 51, of Staten Island, who attended with a friend who lives in the area. "America. Going out and supporting who you believe in, and we believe in President Trump."
