I was born and raised in New Jersey and, with the exception of a few years in Arizona, have lived here my entire life. I graduated from Kean University, where I have taught communication and journalism since 2017, and Columbia Journalism School. Before Patch, I worked for The New York Times Upfront, The New York Daily News, and The Marshall Project.
