Weather Update: Heatwave Heads To Basking Ridge This Week

After a waterlogged start to the month of June, Basking Ridge residents can expect to see temperatures touching 90 degrees toward the end of this week.

Today’s weather will be sunny with a high near 84 degrees and a low temperature around 61 tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Weather forecasters are calling for mostly sunny conditions, with a high near 91. Temperatures will cool down Thursday night to about 68.

Temperatures are expected to eclipse 90 on Friday, as well. The high on Friday is expected to be 90 degrees, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon, according to the NWS. Temperatures are expected to drop down around 68 again Friday night.
