10 Nutley Authors Take The Spotlight At Township Event

NUTLEY, NJ — A “meet the authors” event recently spotlighted the talents of 10 local writers in Nutley.

Monday’s showcase featured the following authors and their books: Stacey Aromando, Maryanne Micchelli Conte, Barbara Davide, Raquel Drosos, Luisa Frey, Catherine Greenfeder, Martha Jackman-Bivas, Nadia Khan, Theresa Quinn Del Vecchio, and Maureen Saar.

Saar got a chance to share some insights about her novel, “Sam and the Family Tree,” which narrates the story of a family preparing for Christmas while navigating the absence of their father, who is serving in the Air Force.

Meanwhile, Khan – another featured author – said it was a great publicity opportunity.

“Even more so, it is wonderful that Nutley is highlighting women authors in the community,” Khan said.

The Nutley Department of Public Affairs and Health, Nutley Free Public Library and Mayor John Kelly III hosted this week’s event.
