Nutley Volunteers 'Stuff-A-Bus' With Holiday Gifts For Hospitalized Kids

"This event truly captures the best of Nutley – neighbors coming together to support families in a difficult time."

NUTLEY, NJ — Volunteers collected hundreds of stuffed toys for hospitalized children during a “Stuff-A-Bus” holiday donation drive in Nutley.

The Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation – in partnership with the Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation (GNCF) – hosted this year’s event between Dec. 9 and Dec. 11. Volunteers braved the cold each evening outside 44 Park Avenue, collecting new, unwrapped toys from local residents, businesses and community groups.

The drive was a big success, organizers said: volunteers filled a bus with more than 700 toys and presents.
