BELLEVILLE, NJ — Several officers with the Belleville Police Department recently helped to “bag hunger” by bagging groceries at a local supermarket.

BPD officers participated in ShopRite’s “Help Bag Hunger Campaign” on Tuesday. The community-minded cops took time out of their day to bag groceries in an effort to raise awareness for the cause.

Shoppers were given the choice to make a donation to say “thanks,” which will go to help local food banks in the area.
