Belleville Police Will Host Family-Friendly Community Bike Ride

The Belleville Police Department will host a free "Community Bike Ride" on Saturday, May 15.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — The Belleville Police Department will host a “Community Bike Ride” on Saturday, May 15, leading participants on a 3.5-mile, family-friendly ride through the township.

According to a municipal notice, the free, public event is a “great opportunity to meet and interact with officers along with neighbors and friends.”

Organizers wrote:

“The ride will start and end at the Belleville High School parking lot (100 Passaic Avenue) Same day registration begins at 9 a.m. The ride will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be escorted by the Belleville police the entire time. Helmets and masks are required, and snacks and refreshments will be available.”

Interested participants can fill out a registration form and waiver of liability here.

“Once you have registered and electronically sign the liability forms, email the documents to fpignataro@bellevillenj.org and jmcaloon@bellevillenj.org,” organizers stated.
