Belleville Resident Charged With Selling Synthetic Marijuana In His Shop
Owner of Little Falls smoke shop reportedly believed substance to be legal.
A Belleville resident was arrested for allegedly selling synthetic marijuana from his smoke shop.
Tamer Tasliarmut, 34, the owner of Serenity Tobacco and Gift Shop in Little Falls was arrested on Monday, on charges he sold K2, according to a Passaic Valley Today report.
While the manufacturers of K2 advertise their product as a natural herb, law enforcement reportedly consider it synthetic marijuana and therefore illegal under a state law passed last year.

The paper reports that Tasliarmut was released on a summons and will be arraigned in Little Falls Municipal Court Monday.
