Belleville Schedules Public Hearings For CDBG Grants

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville has scheduled two public hearings to discuss the town’s upcoming Community Development Block Grant applications under the Essex County Community Development Program.

According to a municipal advisory, the purpose of the hearings is to provide information about the program requirements and objectives, and to discuss fiscal year 2026 funding. Members of the public can present projects for funding consideration.

Hearings are scheduled for 1 and 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 at the Township Council Chambers, 152 Washington Avenue.
