Belleville Wrestlers in Boston, Beat the Streets Boston Duals
Four hometown wrestlers travel to Boston for a one of a lifetime experience.
Belleville wrestlers geared up for a one of a lifetime challenge at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston Massachusetts. This is the 2nd Annual Beat the Streets Boston Duals and the growth has showed incredible increased in wrestlers, teams, and competition.
Belleville High School wrestler Freshy, Joseiah Irias and Middle schooler Lucas Tiankee joined as Free Agents representing Belleville without a team they created a Free Agent team to fill up the High School brackets. Both showed team sportsmanship and the tenacity to win. In sport you take your share of wins and loses and build on it. Moving on to our High School Junior Haytam Laamiri he accumulated over 8 matches! The whole team took in team dual matches and exhibition matches. He made great adjustments as the day went on keeping the energy and even competed against state champs on his Beat the Streets New England team.
Luci Tiankee 10 year old Fifth Grader was incredible in her team. She contributed to her team and going all the way to win the High School Girls 7 vs 7. She wrestled for Dirty Den out of Connecticut. The team was short handed without a heavyweight going against teams 6 vs 7 but the team wrestled to the best of their capacity to win the Boston Duals Championship Finals.
