Nutley Runner Finished Boston Marathon Before Blasts

Nutley runner Jazmin Abraham safe and uninjured according to her running club president.

A Nutley resident racing in the Boston Marathon finished before the explosions set off, according to the Boston Athletic Association's database.

At least two people were killed and 23 injured after a pair of explosions went off near the finish line of the famous annual race. More than 500 participating runners were from New Jersey.

The BAA's website listed Abraham as finishing the race in about three hours and thirty minutes.

Abraham was one of four athletes running as part of the Clifton Roadrunners Club. The club's president Ben Teixeira told Patch he had spoken with the members of his club, and confirmed that all of them, including Abraham, were not injured in the blast.
