Driver Hits Pedestrian In Nutley, Leaves Scene Of Crash: Police
NPD: The victim said a car hit them while they were standing in the middle of a crosswalk.
NUTLEY, NJ — A driver left the scene of an accident in Nutley after striking a pedestrian with their car last week, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to Harrison Street on Feb. 14 after getting a report about a vehicle-pedestrian crash.
The victim said that a silver minivan hit them as they were standing in the middle of the crosswalk. The male driver left the scene after asking if the pedestrian was OK, police said.
