Flag Raising In Belleville Will Honor Martin Luther King Jr.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville will hold a flag raising ceremony in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Friday, Jan. 16.

According to a municipal advisory, the event is intended to honor the legacy of the iconic civil rights leader, as well as offering a “moment of reflection, unity, and remembrance of a man whose vision continues to shape our communities and our future.”

The flag raising event will take place at noon at Town Hall, 152 Washington Avenue.
