“A resident responded to headquarters to report a fraudulent incident. They stated that they believed they were being contacted by an agency who stated they were interested in presenting their book to various agencies to have it published. The victim stated they were then contacted shortly after by two separate parties, who identified themselves as part of production companies and requested money be sent to have the book produced into a movie.
