Holiday Market, Santa Sing Along In Belleville: 2023 Events
A new tradition is launching in the Belleville Public School District this holiday season.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A new holiday tradition is launching in the Belleville Public School District for 2023.
A “Holiday Market and Santa Sing Along” will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 on the campus of Belleville High School, according to a news release from the Belleville Board of Education and Superintendent Richard Tomko.
The event will include vendors/shopping, bounce houses, a skating rink, a petting zoo and a candy cane maze. Visitors can also see Santa and his elves in their toy workshop, stop in at Mrs. Claus's bakery to decorate holiday cookies, ride a holiday train or watch some holiday favorites at the movie theater.

According to the superintendent, the district’s community engagement team started planning with stakeholders last year to bring a memorable holiday village to Belleville for local children, their families and their neighbors.
“In the eight years I've been in Belleville, we've done everything possible as a district to celebrate our cultural diversity and engage families during the holidays,” Tomko said.
“Belleville is an incredible town and our board continues to be committed to ensuring we enhance both the curricular and extracurricular needs of all the members of our community,” he added.
