Local Justice: Decisions in Belleville Municipal Court
Court handles theft case and two cases of operating a business without prior approval.

In State v. Shalonda Farry, of Bayville, the State charged defendant with theft and with receiving stolen property on August 2, 2011. Defendant pleaded guilty to the theft charge and the reciving stolen property charge was dismissed as part of the plea agreement. The Court imposed fines and costs totaling $357.
In State v. Oscar Porres, of Belleville, the State charged defendant on March 19 with operating a business without prior approval. Defendant pleaded guilty. The Court imposed fines and costs totaling $333.
In State v. Mesias Montegrue, of Belleville, the State charged defendant on March 19 with operating a business without prior approval. Defendant pleaded guilty. The Court imposed fines and costs totaling $230.
