Clinic to be dedicated to former the Deputy Director of the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, at 5 p.m.

Nutley's Commissioner Steven Rogers will join the staff of the Public Affairs Department and the family of Nurse Angelica (Vitillo) Costa, on Thursday, April 25 at 5 pm to formally dedicate the Health Department Clinic to Nurse Costa.

Mrs. Costa served in the military during the end of WWII through the Vietnam War. Costa, who passed away in 2002, is a 2007 Nutley Hall of Fame recipient.

In a statement to the press, Commissioner Rogers said, “It is an honor for me to dedicate our health clinic to a woman who has distinguished herself in manyways during times of war and peace. Captain Costa is a role model for women not only who live in Nutley, but for women around the world.
