Pedestrian Hit By Car On Franklin Avenue In Nutley: Police

The victim was evaluated by Nutley EMS personnel and transported to a hospital for further evaluation, police said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A pedestrian was struck by a car in Nutley last week, authorities announced Monday.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the incident took place on Franklin Avenue on June 25. Authorities released the following details:

“Officers responded on report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian struck. The driver stated they believed a vehicle was allowing them to go and did not observe the pedestrian in the crosswalk prior to striking them.”

The victim was evaluated by Nutley EMS personnel and transported to a hospital for further evaluation, police said.
