Two Newark Lawyers Top Ranked in NJBIZ 40 Under 40

Prudential center executive Brad Shron and Newark lawyer Kristi Sostowski are ranked as two of the best business leaders under 40-years-old.

Two Newark executives have garnered the prestigious honor of being listed on NJBIZ’s annual 40 under 40 list. Brad Shron, 35, and Kristin Sostowski, 39, have now joined the ranks of some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the state.

Before becoming the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Prudential Center in Newark, Shron was an associate at the international firm, Proskauer Rose LLP, where he had a hand in team acquisitions and stadium fundings across the country - including Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford. NJ.com also reported that Shron has provided legal representation for a variety of sports teams including the New York Jets, the NBA, and the NHL.

Sostowski is a 2001 graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a member of the Executive Board of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. At age 39, the highly regarded lawyer is a Director of Employment and Labor Law Department and E-Discovery Task Force at Gibbons PC, a Newark law firm. She also serves as Co-Editor of the Employment Law Alert blog. Sostowski sits on the Executive Board of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) and has been ranked as a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Super Lawyers since 2007.
