Young Belleville Wrestlers Take To The Mats, Earn Victories
The young athletes both participate in the Belleville Recreation Wrestling program, which has seen "booming" girls registration.
BELLEVILLE, NJ — Two young wrestlers from Belleville are making some big waves in their sport.
Luci Tiankee and Kristina Zarrillo both participate in the Belleville Recreation Wrestling program. Tiankee recently earned her third-straight state title, and Zarrillo placed at states with only three months of experience under her belt. Tiankee goes to Belleville School #7 and Zarrillo attends School #8.
Tiankee also competed in Spokane, Washington this past weekend for USMC Women Nationals – earning three wins.
