OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — The sun is shining and the chill breeze in the air means that it's officially feeling like fall.
To celebrate this season of crunchy leaves and harvest, check out these five fall festivals throughout Ocean County this weekend.
Harvest Festival

- When: Oct. 18
- Where: Pinelands Regional High School (565 Nugentown Road, Little Egg Harbor)
- Details: This free event features fun for the whole family with inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides and more for the kids. Adults can check out the food trucks and shop local vendors while enjoying live music.
Harvest Arts Festival
- When: Oct. 18, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Where: Downtown Toms River
- Details: Food trucks and vendors will line Washington Street in this arts-focused and family-friendly event. There will be live music and a beer and wine garden, plus downtown shops will be open for business. A juried art show will take place. There will be pumpkin painting for the kids, too.
Oktoberfest

- When: Oct. 18, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Oct. 19, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Where: Laurita Winery (85 Archertown Road, New Egypt)
- Details: Sip on some mulled wine specialties while tasting a plethora of food trucks. Plus there is entertainment, face painting, a wagon tour and much more. Tickets are required; under 21 gets in free. Get your tickets here.
Brick Township's Fall Fest
- When: Oct. 18, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Where: Windward Beach Park, Brick
- Details: Explore food trucks and vendors, or sit around the fire pit. There will also be games, rides and inflatables. Or, try your hand at the cornhole tournament. This festival is capped off with a dazzling fireworks display.
Fall Fireworks Festival
- When: Oct. 18, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Where: Riverfront Park, Point Pleasant
- Details: Enjoy an evening of food trucks and beer and wine while the kids play. Then, end the evening with fireworks.
