Annual School Supply Drive Launched In Berkeley

By donating supplies, you can enter to win one of two iPads, donated by the Berkeley Township PBA.

BERKELEY, NJ — The school year is starting up again soon, and Mayor John Bacchione has announced the return of the Annual School Supply Drive.

Supplies are collected by Bacchione and Berkeley Township Recreation and then distributed to local students in need.

By dropping off donations, you can enter a drawing to win one of two iPads donated by the Berkeley Township PBA.

Items needed are:

  • Backpacks
  • Lunchboxes
  • Notebooks
  • Safety scissors
  • Pens and pencils
  • Erasers
  • Color markers
  • Glue and glue sticks
  • Crayons
  • Rulers

They can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Berkeley Recreation Center (Route 9, Bayville)
  • Mayor's Office (Berkeley Township Municipal Building)
  • Lifeguard station (23rd Avenue, South Seaside Park)

  • Recreation booth at the summer concerts (Veterans Park)
