'Barktoberfest' Comes To Island Beach State Park

BERKELEY, NJ — Looking for a fun fall event with your favorite furry friend? The Friends of Island Beach State Park are hosting "Barktoberfest" in October.

Bring Fido to IBSP Swimming Area 1 on Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a day full of fun and treats. There is an $8 suggested donation.

The event will feature a pet expo with vendors and rescue groups, food trucks, K-9 demos and more.

Plus, bring your pet on a leash and participate in a pet costume parade.
