Berkeley Mom Is 'Amazing' & 'Loves Me Unconditionally,' Says Son

BERKELEY, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is a single mom who makes sure I have everything I need. She does without so I can have and loves me unconditionally. I am autistic and Mom runs me to therapy, Challenger and runs parties for special needs kids in our town. She is amazing. She is helping me with writing and life skills. I don’t talk but Mom knows how to communicate with me. I love her so much.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She never does anything for herself.
