Berkeley Mom Is 'Beautiful, Selfless & Giving,' Daughter Says

BERKELEY, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is beautiful, selfless, giving, and loves her children more than life itself. She has worked hard for everything alongside my father, and they taught us how to be a good role model. My mother taught me everything that I know today, and I’m proud to have the same values she instilled in me.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because I’ve given her hell for most of my teen years. I’ve battled my own demons in life that unfortunately cost her years of peace. Through all the trials and tribulations with my family and me, she has stood by me in every single way. I am proud of her, and I’m proud of myself for finally giving her many years of peace. She is, and will always be my best friend in the entire world. I love my mom more than I think she realizes. She is the best woman that I know.
