Berkeley Mom 'Deserves To Know How Appreciated She Is,' Daughter Says

BERKELEY, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

Over the years my mom has dealt with some pretty serious leg issues and asthma but no matter what she’s always made sure I was okay and still did everything she could do for me. She would put me first no matter how she felt. She’s been the best mom a girl could ever ask for. Even if we butt heads, she always puts me first and now her grandchild. She’s selfless and would do anything for me or her family. I love you ma. Thank you for everything you do and did for me. I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She’s selfless, caring and always makes sure I’m happy and taken care of. She deserves to know that everything she does is appreciated by me
