Berkeley Mom Mil Penn Is ‘The Definition Of A True Fighter’

BERKELEY, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your mom extra special?

My mom was diagnosed with MS a few years ago and she doesn’t let that stop her from being the most selfless woman I know. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone else is happy, putting their wellbeing before her own happiness! She is the strongest woman I know and the definition of a true fighter. She is not only an amazing mother, but also a sister, aunt and, more importantly, a grandmother to her three wonderful grandchildren.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She would give anyone the shirt off of her back
