BERKELEY, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks! Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours. This submission comes from Callie who nominated Ellen of Berkeley.
What makes your Mom extra special?
She is very selfless. She still helps my brother and I with anything when we need it even though we’re in our twenties. And she’s been helping less fortunate families provide Christmas for their kids for probably close to 10 years now.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
To let her know that her efforts are noticed and appreciated.
