Downed Rt. 9 Pole Closes Lanes Friday Morning: DOT

BERKELEY, NJ - A downed utility pole on Route 9 in Berkeley has prompted commuting delays in the area Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:23 a.m., there’s a utility pole down on Route 9 southbound south of Station Road in Berkeley Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed, the agency said.
