Bayville Boy, 3, Dies In Tragic Accident, Family Says

Lucas Z. Hynes of Bayville passed away on Monday July 30, 2018. He was 3.

Lucas was born on September 11, 2014 at Monmouth Medical Center.

He died from "a tragic accident" according to a gofundme page established by a family member. The page was established to help pay for funeral expenses. As of Wednesday morning, $910 had been raised for a $7,000 goal.

A second gofundme page was also set up by a family friend. So far, that fund has 3,711 raised for an $8,000 goal.

Lucas is survived by his parents Annamarie McILvain and David P. Hynes, Jr., his siblings David P. III, Daniel, Ariana, and Briana.

He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Marie Byers and George McILvain, paternal grandparents Sharon and Thomas Vieira and David P. Sr. and many relatives and friends. A viewing will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday until the time of the service at 6:30 pm at the Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Main StreetForked River, NJ 08731.
