New Colombian Restaurant Opens In Bayville

BERKELEY, NJ — Chow down on some delicious Colombian fare with an American twist at Bayville's newest eatery.

Calichef, located at 242 Atlantic City Blvd. (which previously housed Big Dogs, and Grub City prior to that) recently held its grand opening. The restaurant describes itself as "Colombian fast food."

Featured on their menu are Colombian classics like salchipapa (a mix of sausage and fries), arepas and maduros (sweet plantains).

The eatery also offers some hamburger options and a hot dog that comes topped with bacon, queso and their signature house sauces.

According to the website, Calichef is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
