Public Hearing On Two Of Berkeley's Sports Complexes Tonight

Do you think some improvements need to be made at the Eastern Boulevard and Veterans Park Sports complexes?

Then come to the Berkeley Township Council meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in Town Hall, when the council will hold a public hearing on the township application's for Green Acres funding for the second phase of the Eastern Boulevard Complex Development Project.

"After many years, the state has opened up Green Acres grant funding for municipalities," Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said."Both are heavily used all year round and need work. As part of the grant process, the township needs to hold a public hearing."

The application is officially called Phase Two of the Eastern Boulevard Complex Development Project.
