Winterfest This Weekend To Celebrate 150 Years Of Berkeley

BERKELEY, NJ — The high temperature Saturday may be 73 degrees but it'll be winter at Veterans Park as Berkeley Township celebrates its 150th anniversary with Winterfest.

Enjoy the sunny weather while iceless ice skating, food trucks, inflatables and more are available for families.

This event runs 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on March 29. A $10 wristband gets you unlimited ice skating and inflatables.

It was March 31, 1875, when Berkeley Township officially was incorporated as a township in New Jersey.

This is just the start of a year of celebrations, Mayor John Bacchione said. More events are yet to come.
