
The Bedminster Township School Board of Education is planning to hear a budget overview from Superintendent Carolyn Koos at Thursday's meeting.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Bedminster Township School on Somerville Road.
The district is currently dealing with , a 100 percent increase over the 2012-2013 school year.

These expenses are required, and the board is faced with having to move other finances around in order to stay within the required 2 percent cap.
The budget is expected to be introduced to the public March 6, before it is sent to the county superintendent for approval.

Also on the agenda Thursday, is the recognition of two students for placing in the National Geographic Geography Bee, and one student for placing in the GFWC Junior Women's Club Spelling Bee.
