Bernards Remains Unbeaten Behind Maddaluna
Mountaineers roll past previously undefeated New Providence.
With Bernards High's Mountaineers winning game after game this season, Friday's home matchup against New Providence, another undefeated team, might have been expected to be somewhat of a challenge.
Instead, by halftime, the Mountaineers had a 27-point lead on their way to a 42-3 romp.
With this win, Bernards is the 2012 Mid State 38 Union Division Champion, Eric Simoneau said.

Friday's game also was "pink out" night, in which fans were invited to wear all shades and styles of pink to recognize breast cancer awareness — and they did.
The event brought out a large crowd, with cars spilling over onto streets blocks away, and plenty of fans of all ages lining the fence and enjoying refreshments.
