Man Arrested With Loaded Gun In Bernardsville: Police
A Michigan resident was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and multiple motor vehicle violations, police said.
BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — A Michigan man was arrested in Bernardsville after police said they found a loaded handgun during a traffic stop July 15 in the area of Mount Airy Road.
Harry Douglas Kirk, 34, from Farmington Hills, was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and multiple motor vehicle violations, police said.
Officer Anthony Foley stopped Kirk for a traffic violation and found a .38-caliber handgun while investigating the car, according to police.

Kirk was released on a summons pending his court appearance in Somerset County Superior Court.
