When/Where:
Friday 7 p.m. on Ravine Lake Road in Bernardsville.
Why Go:
The Barn at Upton Pyne is featuring a wine tasting with Riedel wine glasses, and will include hors d’oevres, wine tasting, buffet dinner and more.

Gail Winbury's Art and Live Music at Farmstead Arts
When/Where:
Sunday, 1 p.m. at Farmstead Arts in Basking Ridge, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge.
Why Go:
Local guitarist Arturo and cornetist will perform while art lovers get a chance to browse the work of artist Gail Winbury. The exhibit will be the Farmstead’s first solo show dedicated to nonrepresentational art styles and theoretical themes.

Fundraiser for "Puppies Behind Bars"
When/Where:
Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harry Dunham Park at 490 Somerville Road in Basking Ridge.
Why Go:
Highland Vet House Calls is running a fundraiser at which you can protect your pet, a dog or cat, protected by having an identifying microchip inserted. All proceeds benefit Puppies Behind Bars, which trains prison inmates to raise service dogs for wounded war veterans and explosive detection canines
for law enforcement.
Cost:
$40 for microchipping for your pet, or just show up to meet service dogs and support cause. Cash or credit. For information, call Wendi at 973-978-6614.

CASINO NIGHT to benefit SWIM Inc.
When/Where:
Friday at 7 p.m. at Vine Restaurant, 95 Morristown Road, Basking Ridge.
Why Go:
Get in the SWIM of things! Live it up at the second annual CASINO NIGHT to benefit SWIM, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides free aquatic exercise for adults with mobility impairments. This is an all-inclusive event —enjoy food, drink, $300.00 of play money and all your favorite casino games! Cost: $100 for all-inclusive tickets if ordered beforehand, $125 at the door. Chamber Music Orchestra Rehearsals
When/Where:
Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Mi La’s Debut School of Music on Route 22 in Green Brook.
Why Go:
Anyone who has played a string instrument for three or more years is welcome to join in on the rehearsals.
Cost:
Free.

Tar Heel Total Pet Care Nail Trimming and Ear Cleaning
When/Where:
Saturday at 10 a.m. at Cherrybrook Bedminster on Route 206.
Why Go:
Tar Heel Total Pet Care will be at the shop for nail trimming and ear cleaning for dogs, and reservations are required.

Pet Psychic Lorraine Moore
When/Where:
Sunday at 11 a.m. at Cherrybrook Bedminster on Route 206.
Why Go:
Lorraine Moore will be at Cherrybrook Bedminster to discuss the thoughts of your dog, and the pet psychic will communicate with your pets.
Cost:
$25.

Pingry’s Big Blue Summer Day Camp Open House
When/Where:
Sunday at 11 a.m. at The Pingry School on Martinsville Road in Basking Ridge.
Why Go:
There will be an open house with information about the Big Blue Summer Day Camp, with camp activities like sand art, a scavenger hunt and much more.
Cost:
Free.

Spaghetti Dinner for Sandy Relief
When/Where:
Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilson Memorial Union Church on Valley Road in Watchung.
Why Go:
The church is hosting a spaghetti dinner to support the church’s annual Youth Mission Trip, and, this year, the group of about 20 young adults will be helping those on the Jersey shore who were devastated by Hurricane Sandy
Cost:
$10 for adults and $8 for children under 10 years old.

NJYC Presents: Cantus
When/Where:
Sunday at 7 p.m. at Bernards High School in Bernardsville.
Why Go:
The Advanced Chorus and the Young Men’s Ensemble will perform with Cantus at the school’s Performing Art Center.
Cost:
$15.
