Chamber Music Orchestra Rehearsals
When/Where: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Mi La’s Debut School of Music on Route 22 in Green Brook.
Why Go: Anyone who has played a string instrument for three or more years is welcome to join in on the rehearsals.
Cost: Free.
Somerset Medical Center Holds Free Screenings for Athletes
When/Where: Saturday starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
Why Go: There will be a free heart screening for high school athletes, and they will look for major abnormalities that could cause sudden cardiac death. The screenings will include cardiovascular history, blood pressure screening, body metrics and more.

Sports Card and Collectibles Show
When/Where: Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on 2nd Avenue in Somerville.
Why Go: More than 50 dealers will be on hand to show off cards and collectibles for all your favorite sports fans.
Cost: Admission is $1 to benefit St. Ann’s.
Self-Published Authors Fair at Bernardsville Library
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bernardsville Public Library on Anderson Hill Road in Bernardsville.
Why Go: There will be a self-published authors fair at the library for fans to talk with some of their favorite local authors, and for authors to promote their self-published work.
Cost: Free.
