Sketch Of I-78 Road Rage Shooting Suspect Released By Police
The suspect was driving a black SUV with Pennsylvania plates and fled westbound on I-78 after shooting at another car, police said.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Police released a sketch on Wednesday of the suspect in a road rage shooting on Interstate 78 in Bedminster earlier this month.
A man driving a large, black, newer model SUV with Pennsylvania plates fired a gun at another car near milepost 28 on westbound I-78 around 8:25 p.m. on July 7, police said.
The victim, who was driving a Toyota Camry, told police the shooter struck her car then drove off westbound.

A detective with the New Jersey State Police Forensic Imaging Unit created a composite sketch of the suspect and police are seeking the public's assistance identifying him. Police said anyone traveling on I-78 westbound between Exit 26 and I-287 between 8:20 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. on July 7 who may have seen anything or had a dashboard camera is asked to contact the Perryville Station Detective Bureau at 908-730-7042.
