Data used to create the map was compiled with information from the American Community Survey as part of the most recent census.

Most of Bedminster sees median monthly rental costs of $1,375, plus or minus $675. In Peapack and Gladstone, rental rates are around $1,306, plus or minus $180.

Much of Bernardsville sees the higher rental rates, at about $1,390, plus or minus $278, although a portion of the town, closer to Basking Ridge, sees rates far lower at $345, plus or minus $108.

Far Hills residents are seeing rates of about $1,146, plus or minus $583.

According to the charts, the statewide middle rental range is $928 to $1,071.
