History was made when Mike Carter, jr collected his third hit of the game vs Somerville giving him 151 for his career moving past former leader Brian Lindner. Carter concluded his career with 152.

Baseball defeated Union City in the first round of the State Tournament before succumbing to Belleville in the next round. 

Isabel Gonzalez competed in the Girls Golf Individual Tournament and posted the second best score among Essex County golfers. The Golf team concluded their season with a win over West Essex High School.

The Track team braved some very inhospitable conditions at the Sectional Championships. Tonisha Beresford defended her title in the 400 meter run winning in 58.97. Serhiy Kralka won the Discus with a toss of 169’3” and came within an inch and a quarter of becoming the first Bengal thrower to win two sectional titles in the same weekend as he finished second in the Shot Put at 52’1.75” just behind a Randolph thrower who measured 52’3”. Other place winners included the Boys 4X800 Meter Relay Team (Mike Pontrelli, Darnell Philemon, Anthony Ardino, Ethan Felix)-3 place and Jeovan SantosJavelin-6 Harbor. 

Softball was eliminated from the State Tournament by West Orange High School.  

Boys Volleyball Defeated West Essex in regular season play. They also thumped Barringer in State Tourney competition. They were knocked out of the States by a fine Bayonne team. 

Boys Tennis concluded a fine season with a win over Golda Och Academy. The team finished in second place in their division.
