Bloomfield officials announced this week the appointment of five new police officers.  Nader Sarabamoun, Tiffany Mazza, Salvatore Cordi, Matthew Rubbinaccio and Nicholas Mauriello joined the force following a brief vote from the council during their Monday night meeting.   The five are replacing retiring members of the department and begin 22 weeks of training at the Bergen County Police Academy at the end of July.
